For Writers
A space for craft, clarity, and creative momentum
If you're a writer looking for honest craft insight, practical support, and a little creative fire, you've come to the right place. I am all yours. I've spent years inside this process - ghostwriting, editing, plotting, starting over, rebuilding, refining, and learning the business side of the industry - and I want to share it all with you. My greatest joy is paying forward all the help I've received in my journey. If you long to create meaning and change with your words, welcome.

My Creative Homebase
Most of my behind-the-scenes thinking lives on my Buy Me a Coffee site, nicknamed Draft to Dreams. That's where you'll find deep craft dives, business-of-writing insights, all the vulnerable bits of building a creative life, and a community of writers who make it all feel less solitary.

"Laura pushed me when I needed to be nudged, even if it was uncomfortable for me as a writer. She helped me to see the little things that make all the difference in a good, memorable story. At each stage, she gauged my progress and adjusted her coaching accordingly-pointing out my strengths and insisting I categorize my weaknesses so I could improve them. I appreciate her prompt attention and highly recommend her to anyone who is serious about improving his/her writing. A lot of time will be spent outside your comfort zone, but in the end you'll learn more than you imagined about yourself and your craft."

How I Work With Writers
When I step into a project, I'm looking for the strongest version of the story you're already trying to tell. My job isn't to impose a formula. I ask the right questions, help you see shape and intention, and walk beside you toward a book that feels aligned to you.
The writers I work with are thoughtful, warm, driven by purpose, willing to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work, and truly inspiring. If that's you (and I suspect it is), you've found the place to make a career happen.
Curious about ghostwriting?
I was a guest on the Authors and Audiences podcast. We discuss the cloaked world of ghostwriting, and how I capture a client's voice on the page.
Where in the World am I?
Probably fighting the epic battle between fetch and word count. Reach out to me in all the spaces and find out.
